We built an application on the Facebook Platform that allows users to interact with online photos in a cool new way. Instead of grouping pictures into a single page, the Photo Flipbook takes existing photo albums and displays them as if they are in a book. You can show the photo’s caption, change the background, and flip through each interactive album by clicking each page.
How it works: The Photo Flipbook leverages the Flex Framework and Flash 9 to create a richer multimedia experience. Using the Facebook Platform, Terralever’s custom ActionScript API makes applications that integrate with your user’s lifestyle. Flash applications also allow more complex user interaction without sacrificing usability. This provides functionality within Facebook’s application, and in a secure, user-friendly fashion.
