What a terrible loss – I had the pleasure of getting to know Andy when he proposed some business at a company I worked for, and our paths crossed at some AMA events. Andy and I knew each other in passing and shared some great conversations when we had the chance. Although I didn’t know him on a personal level, he always took the time to ask how things were going and share perspectives on questions or situations. I also knew him through the eyes of his employees, and they always had nothing but good things to say.

This is incredibly difficult news to comprehend, and we want Andy’s family to know he left a legacy that will endure the test of time. The helplessness of being on the perimeter leaves us empty, but we want every one of our friends at Terralever to know we would be honored to participate in any lasting tribute to Andy’s work. I just can’t believe this tragedy. Remembering all of the times that we spent together growing up. He is an incredible person with an incredible family. I was lucky enough to be a close family friend and felt like a brother. Mostly I miss the memories of how every X-mas we would spend the holidays together. I remember working at IIS when I first met Andy after an acquisition…was a cool guy then and was always the life and light of any room he was in. Genuine, friendly and a great guy. I will miss him. When my son and I stopped by Terralever this year to donate cans, Andy welcomed us and gave us a tour. My son Zane thought Andy was so cool for letting him play with his trains on Andy’s new office wall. Andy, you are indeed a cool dude. We will miss you dearly.
